I cannot believe it....time flies....i finished..FINISHED my final..last last last lecture in my entire university life! the last lecture was a lecture of Health Psychology by Dr. Deborah Turnbull....mix feelings when I was about to leave the lecture hall....Horace Lamb Lecture Theatre....

it;s weird hey...it's just like....when you dun seem to realise something....that uve gotten so used to it everyday...when u realise its about to end, you're about to leave the place and not returning for lectures anymore..all the ppl that used to be around u....ur friends..uni life...everything...

it's like a huge 'WOW' for me today.....kind of not wanting to leave this life, but part of me looks forward to entering another new page in my life....a new page that is waiting for me to paint on the pathway closer to what I dreamt of :)

in the mean time, all the best to everyone that will be facing exams in november!

An ordinary Saturday

I should be doing my Perception & Cognition Prac report....I haven't started thinking of a research question yet....and it's due on the 23rd, heaps of other stuff undone....readings, lecture revisions, self-directed learning etc etc..

And yet,

here I am, on my blog, SLACKING. tsk tsk tsk, unforgivable.....

But then again,

I am so not motivated to be nerdy today...I miss home!!!!!!!!!!! couldn't wait for the two months to past as quickly as possible so that I could see my family again....

Because of my passion for dark colour, mostly black, most of the time I was told I looked really intimidating and sometimes pissed off when I'm not smiling, and ppl wouldn't dare come near me if they don't know me.....and I was told quite often: 'Erika, sometimes a bit of colour wouldn't hurt'...haha

Black leather jackets, winter jackets, you just can't get enough of them could you? I couldn't emphasise more. ;)

Oversized T-shirt/shirt

To all the busy ppl out there who have no time to think what to wear every morning before you head out.
Sometimes, simplicity is the key -> an oversized white shirt could be worn in several different ways!

Grab a cheap leather-like tights, or any black tights, and toss on any oversized t-shirt/long sleeves from any closet (it can be from your partner's or brothers closet too!) simple tank top, any accessories, and a pair of high heels, and you're ready to go!

 

When the weather is cold, pir of blue jeans, high heels, same over-sized t-shirt, and just grab a scarf and blazer in your bag to battle the cold! :)

Same thing, summer time, even better! short cropped shorts, large comfy shirt, out you go!

Same oversized long sleeve, pair of whatever skinny jeans or tights, few accessories, messy hair, STUNNING.

See, tomboy look is in the trend as well! :p

Dear lupus, you have killed someone today, are you happy doing so?...

Found out one of my friend's girlfriend passed away due to lupus complications this morning. Even though I don't know her, I felt so much connected to this incident than anyone else could have ever been. I was stunned and speechless staring at my msn window conversation with my friend, slowly swallowing the words one by one, hoping I read it wrongly... unwanted flashes of images and terrifying thoughts hit me so hard I could not reply....     

she had fever just for a couple of days, and died without notice.....fever.....a normal ordinary fever, which I just had in the last few months.

once again I remind myself...even though you are treating my body kind at this moment, I could never predict if you would start hating me the next second and do what you did to all lupus patients.

I cried..well..almost..in 50 seconds

Hmm....whenever the months are closing in to the end of the year...I always miss my family more...stronger feelings and yearnings to go home, to see my lovely mom, my dearest dad, my two wonderful brothers, my dogs, and my warm little home back in Malaysia...

Yes, home with family is something that could never be replaced by anything, in the entire world, the entire universe. I miss ya all!!!!!!

The unforeseen future of Erika's...

Struggled since July, thinking of what I should be doing or where I should be going next year, after I've completed my degree end of this year...finally made a rough decision, I'd return to Singapore/ Malaysia for a few months, and see how things go...I didin't want to leave though, I miss my friends here, oh well.....I might be back for my honours studies, IF I'm good enough to compete with the rest of Psychology Level III geniuses...

Dunno what I'll be walking into....in my future..

New Moon - New HOT vampires

Dakota Fanning, my first impression of her beyond perfect acting skills was at the movie 'war of the worlds' with Tom Cruise, she was just a tiny cute little girl but with such great acting skills, can't wait to see her awesome vampire character in New Moon.

      Personally I wouldnt wear such flowery prints, but I think they look sweet though, love the boots ;)

For this dress, I sort of have a similar one, which, no one ever sees me wear it cos I haven't really wear it due to the awfully freezing weather in Adelaide (and plus, I'm vulnerable to cold weather :p), but yeah, this is a great idea for to pair with tan coloured boots
